We will be handing out Thanksgiving Baskets this week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday).  If you have any donations you want us to use for the baskets please get them to us today so we have time to log them in.

We just received a large donation (the boy scout collection) on Saturday and will be pulling Thanksgiving items from that today so I can’t give specifics about items still needed until later today but I know that the following is always items that are needed.

Turkeys (Many more people sign up after the cut off date for the ordering through the NH Food Bank)
Turkey Stuffing (not chicken)
Evaporated Milk
Canned Yams
Turkey Gravy

We are open from 10 am – 1 pm and 3 pm – 6 pm Monday – Thursday to accept any donation (of course).

So far we have about 60 families signed up to receive Thanksgiving Baskets.  We will be giving out the baskets the week of November 14th (next week).

We are in need of:

Turkeys (5 missing)
Turkey Breast (5 missing)
Turkey Gravy (missing 72)
Turkey Stuffing (missing (52)
Evaporated Milk (for pumpkin pie) (missing 56)
Canned Yams (missing 49)

Thanks to a generous donation from Louie at Meadow Ledge Farm we will have apples.
Thanks to the USDA we have plenty of cranberry sauce.
We will be getting most of our turkeys from the NH Food Bank (maybe some produce to depending on what they have).

The rest will probably be purchased from Sam’s Club or Walmart.

Prize:  1/2 of the total Ticket Sales

Runs November 1st – December 15th

This fundraiser helps Loudon Food Pantry during the holiday season and the lucky winner will receive half of the total ticket sales.  So, the more tickets we sell, the more the winner takes home and the more you help the pantry!

Ticket Prices          $1 each          3 for $2          7 for $5

Tickets can be purchased by using this Order Form or at Loudon Food Pantry, 30 Chichester Rd., Unit D, Loudon NH 03307.  Our office hours are Mon. – Thur. 10 AM – 1 PM then we reopen from 3 PM – 6 PM.

We accept cash, check, and money orders.  (Please do not mail cash).
