Anyone who is a patron of Loudon Food Pantry is eligible for a Thanksgiving Box. If you are not a patron and would like to get a Thanksgiving box, you must be pre-qualified. To see if you qualify you must first be a resident of Belmont, Canterbury, Chichester, or Loudon. If you are then call 603-724-9731 and speak with Sue.
The sign up form will be available during the month of October. If you come in after that date to sign up, there will be no guarantee we have enough food to fill your order. Please sign up early so we know how much food we need to have on hand.
Last year’s boxes contained fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, as well as the Thanksgiving Dinner fixings. We hope the farms that helped out last year will again be kind enough to donate. Don’t wait – sign up today!
READ MOREOver the past years we have been involved with the LES Halloween Party in a very limited capacity. This year it is more of a partnership and we are all liking it. This partnership brings sharing of tasks and even more ideas!
The biggest concern for all of us is to make sure the children have lots of fun. Different types of games, a photo booth, a pumpkin decorating contest, a dance section, face painting and more…. Check out the LES Halloween Party Facebook Page for more information about the party, volunteers information and concession stand needs.
LES Halloween Party is also a party that benefits Loudon Food Pantry. The sponsorships received for the party is used to buy materials, decorations, games, entertainment, food and all things party.
Loudon Food Pantry is given the entrance fees of 3 food items per child or $3 per child and concession stand sales.

READ MOREThe Hunger Sucks, Food Rocks Walk/Ride was a huge success. They raised $2,154 for our pantry. In doing so, they surpassed their goal of $2,000. Wow! This money comes at a time when the pantry is struggling to meet the needs of our patrons and paying for operational expenses.
I’d like to thank everyone that had a hand in setting up this walk, the walkers and the riders. We had fun while there during the event. The weather was great for it as well! Keep an eye out for this event next year!
