Donations Needed and Always Welcome

During the next few months we have to keep up with a large demand for food while our patrons try to heat their homes.  In 2013, we gave out enough food for 77,885 meals.  That was an average of 6,490 meals per month.

We also need funds to keep the pantry running and to purchase food that is not donated.  Our budget to accomplish this is $116.16 per day.  This includes the maintenance fees we pay to the NH Food Bank so we have food and frozen meat, insurances, rent telephone, payroll (only Sue gets paid. All others are volunteers), fundraising, internet, projected equipment maintenance, etc.

To find out what items we need, please find Help Us! (on Left side of screen) and then click on Donate.  Thank you for your continued support.  Without your help we would not be able to feed those in need.

Feinstein Challenge

🙂 It’s On! 🙂

Each year we partake in the Annual Feinstein Challenge to Fight Hunger. Alan Shawn Feinstein divides $1 million amongst participating hunger agencies like us based on how much we raise.  This helps to inspire the public to donate during the months where we run dangerously low on food and funds.

To be a part of this effort, donate food or funds between March 1st and April 30th and note that it’s for the Feinstein Challenge.  Without noting your donation, it can not be included in this challenge.

In 2010 we collected a total of $2,457.00 in funds and food.  In 2011 we collected $4,219.58 in funds and food.  In 2012, thanks to your help, we exceeded our goal of $5,000 in funds and food by $827.33. In 2013, with your help, we beat our goal of $6,000 by $155.82!

This year our goal is a minimum of $6,500.
