Canterbury Fair

We had a great time at the Canterbury Fair on Saturday.  The thunderstorms held out until just as we were leaving.  People dropped by our booth and donated some produce.  It was good to see everyone having fun!

Website Sponsorship – $30 for a whole year of advertising

Our website costs us $30 per month to stay online and is necessary to reach out to those in need, stay in touch with our supporters and receive online donations.

That $30 includes:

  • Hosting
  • Domain name registration (loudonfoodpantry.org)
  • SSL Certificate and installation (this makes the website secure)
  • WP Give (a fundraising platform that helps us receive online donations)

By sponsoring our website, it will help keep our website online and let our visitors know that you and/or your business cares about the community.

A one-time fee of $30 for 1 year of advertising space on our website is all it takes!

We only need 12 sponsors each year to make this happen!  After the 12th sponsor signs up, we stop accepting sponsors until the next year.

To sign up, click on the appropriate box on the right side of the website then send your company info and logo to Sarah@loudonfoodpantry.org.  You can also drop by the pantry at Huckleberry Business Park, 30 Chichester Rd., Unit D, Loudon NH any Tuesday, Thursday or Friday from 10 AM – 4 PM.

Please keep in mind that the ad blocks are only about 200px x 200px so images might need to be respectfully resized in order to make them fit.

Donations are Down

Our food donations are down by 46.4% and our financial donations are down by 37.6% from last year.

Food donations are used directly to feed the food insecure people that come to us for help.  Before they receive help, they must qualify by showing proof of residency, money received in their household, and other services they receive.

Financial donations are used to purchase food that supplements what is not received through food donations and pays for operating expenses that helps keep the food pantry open.

Only with your help can we keep supplying enough food to create an average of 70,000 meals per year!

Thank you!

New Income Requirements for Receiving Food

The new income requirement amounts will be updated on our website (under “Need Help?” tab) on July 1, 2018.  We will also update our food insecure booklet as well.

This year a mailing our food insecure booklets will be sent out to the town halls of Belmont, Canterbury, Chichester and Loudon NH and specific agencies in the area as well.  This way they have them on hand to give out to people in need.

Our food insecure booklets list all the information and eligibility requirements to receive food at Loudon Food Pantry.
