BBQ Birthday Bash and Open House
Saturday July 24th
Noon - 6:00 PM

Come join us in celebrating our second birthday.  We'll have food, cold beverages and games for everyone to play.  Fun for all!

We are raffling off $100.  The tickets cost $1 each.  How lucky are you?  Drop in and find out.

All proceeds from this event will benefit the pantry.   As you may know, we service  five towns (listed in order of most serviced to least serviced): Loudon, Epsom, Canterbury, Belmont, Chichester.

In 2009 from January through May, we provided enough food for 22,454 meals.  In 2010 from January through May, we provided enough food for 27,834 meals,.  We're very proud that we've managed to keep up with the increase over the last two years and it's all thanks to your support and generosity.

So come on down to our BBQ Birthday Bash and partake in the festivities.

>We are also looking for sponsors who would be willing to donate funds to help cover the costs of the event.  If you're interested, please either contact either Sue or Sarah at (603) 724-9731 or visit our website at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 1st Annual Spring Fair PDF Print E-mail

You are invited to Loudon Food Pantry on Saturday June 19th from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM at 30 Chichester Rd. Loudon NH for first annual Spring Fair.

Come on down to learn more about the pantry, check out the various events and demonstrations, as well as participate in judging the grand prize in the baking contest.  Attendance is free and no tickets are required, so bring the whole family!

Or maybe you have items that you’d like to sell?  You can rent a space and sell your yard sale items, homemade crafts and/or baked goods!  Just fill out the registration form and enclose the fee.  Make sure to get it in early because space is limited.

If you’re a baker, then perhaps the baking contest will tickle your fancy.  There are several categories to choose from and you can enter one item for each category.  This gives you four chances to win the grand prize (to be announced) for only $25.  The categories will be judged by our panel of judges, but the grand prize will be judged by the crowd.

We’ll also have a table for our Recycling Fundraiser.  We are collecting Cell Phones, Laptop Computers, MP3 Players, Digital Cameras, Inkjet Cartridges, Jewelry (Gold, Silver, and Platinum), Notebooks, Video Cameras, Handheld Game Systems, GPS Devices, Radar Detectors and Electronic Book Readers for recycling.  So bring any of the above mentioned items and drop them off.  You’ll be helping the environment and get a small tax write-off as well.

We hope to see you there!

We are also looking for sponsors who would be willing to donate funds to help cover the costs of the event.  If you're interested, please either contact the pantry at 603-724-9731 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 49,000,000 Americans are at Risk of Hunger

On May 8th, Campbell Soup Company and the United States Postal Service are partnering once again with the National Association of Letter Carriers to sponsor Stamp Out Hunger, the "nation's largest single-day food drive."  Your participation in this cause is instrumental to its success.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

  1. Place bags filled with nonperishable food items next to your mailbox.  Donate items like canned meats, fish, soup, juice, and vegetables pasta, cereal, and rice.  Please do not include items that have expired or are in glass containers.
  2. Your letter carriers will pick them up and deliver them to the Capital Region Food Program (CRFP).  Donated food will then be sorted and distributed to seventeen of CRFP's partner agencies (such as us) at the end of the day.
